I read your blog post on the state of the BI industry and thought it was right on target. Your comment on the need for vendors to integrate unstructured data into their BI solutions made me wonder if you’re aware of what my company SAS Institute has done to answer that need. For some time we have offered integrated text mining for unstructured data and have recently acquired Teragram which will give us the advanced technology to use unstructured data in over 30 languages including non-European character sets.
